In-Depth interview-response 1
1) What is your favourite music genre and why?
My favourite music genre would have to be electronic. I really like electronic as the songs has a fast pace to it. The fast pace makes a song more interesting for me as you remember the chorus and the key points of the song really quickly and can pick it up after only listening to it once. There is almost a sense of reality with most electronic songs as it has some sort of storyline to it and how it has affected the artist in some way.
2) What is you favourite music video and why?
My favourite music video of all time has to be Smack My Bitch Up by The Prodigy. This song to me is something very special. This is because it has a great storyline and at the same time it plays with your mind as the ending is something special. I think this music video is special as 99.9% of people who watch this presume that the there will be a man at the end with the woman in the bedroom. But, it is a great reverse psychology as it turns out to be a woman instead of a man. I immensely enjoyed the narrative style music video for this song as it stereotyped some people in particular.
3) Are you familiar with Dubstep music, if so, what ideas come into your mind?
I am not too familiar with Dubstep music as I am only just recently getting into it. However, from what I have heard from friends is that it is really good style of music and gives you a buzz. I imagine that most gigs for Dubstep music is very dark setting and has lots of people raving to the music.

1) What is your favourite music genre and why?
My favourite music genre is rock. Rock music for me defines music. Rock is the most interesting music genre in my opinion. Going to rock gigs/concerts are amazing as you feel part of the band as they are intimate with their fans. I love the fact that in rock music the artists/bands actually have to be talented and not just talk rubbish like rap music for example.
2) What is you favourite music video and why?
My favourite music video would by far have to be Rockstar by Nickelback as the song is about what the rock star wants from life. This is my favourite music video because I feel that the song is down to earth and is realistic in comparison with some music videos. The music video itself is very clever as it portrays a message to people that if they want something bad enough they will get it. Overall this music video is a fantasy to this rock band who wants everything from life ranging from money to women.
